SAN ANTONIO BUSINESS JOURNAL'S 40
UNDER 40:
The San Antonio Business Journal (SABJ) is
seeking nominations for the young stars of San
Antonio's business community. Eligible candidates
include any individual who is 39 years old or younger
as of December 25, 2009. On that date, the SABJ will
publish a special section identifying and highlighting
40 people in San Antonio under age 40 who are
making a difference in their chosen fileds or the local
business community at large. Winners will also be
recognized at a public awards luncheon in January
2010.
Entry deadline is 5 p.m. on October 16. Self

OUR LADY OF THE LAKE UNIVERSITY
CONDUCTING BUSINESS SURVEY:
Kevin Barton, Director of Center for Information
and Leadership/ Assurance Management with Our
Lady of the Lake University is conducting a survey
involving small and medium sized businesses and
their involvement and/or understanding of the risks
their company's information faces. OLLU is
recognized as a national center for cyber security.
A graduate student or a professor would visit with
a business and survey the company. The survey itself
will alert the owner to whatever issues they might
have, but the surveyor will also discuss their findings.
