TEXAS CONFERENCE FOR WOMEN: SMALL
BUSINESS CONTEST:
Do you know a small woman-owned business in
Texas that's taking great strides while reducing its
carbon footprint?
The Texas Conference for Women's "Boost Your
Business by Going Green" contest invites women
owned small businesses based in Texas to submit
innovative ways they're making a positive impact on
the environment. Three winners will receive $15,000,
$10,000 and $5,000 worth of energy-efficient HP
technology equipment.

FIRST ANNUAL WOMEN'S BUSINESS
SYMPOSIUM:
The South Texas Women's Business Center
(STWBC) and title sponsors are proud to present
the first Annual Women's Business Symposium which
features the first annual business plan competition
and Marketplace EXPO. The symposium is to
celebrate women entrepreneurship and women's
equality day. It will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009
at the Norris Conference Center, and the theme
is "Gearing for Success. Growing Your Business."
